MICHALIS CHARALAMBIDES
Born in Paphos, Cyprus, in 1963, Michalis Charalambides is a contemporary artist whose work bridges the disciplines of fine art and interior design. His formal education was completed at the Hastings College of Arts and Technology (now East Sussex College) in the United Kingdom, where he studied from 1985 to 1989.
Following his academic training, Michalis Charalambides established a dual practice, balancing a career in interior design with a consistent presence in the fine arts. A pivotal period in his development occurred between 1996 and 1998, during which he collaborated closely with his father, the renowned artist Andreas Charalambides. He further refined his craft through studies with Stass Paraskos at the Lemba College of Arts from 1998 to 1999.
